Ashkani
Ashkani or Askani (Urdu: اشکاني اسكاني, translit. Nastaliq) is a Baloch tribe in Balochistan in Pakistan and Sistan and Baluchestan Province in Iran. Askani is the biggest clan of the Rind tribe. The tribe is mostly found in greater Makran specially in Kech district. Majority living in Zamora hill near Iran border some of them spread all over Mand Tump Turbat Buleda Kashap Dasht also in Gwadar district. The tribe's 70% population is in Iranian province Sistan o Baluchestan's Makoran division they are dominant across the border and controlling it from the centuries. In the 2012 census, its population was approximately 36,000 people.
