Arata Iura (井浦 新 Iura Arata, born September 15, 1974 in Tokyo), formerly better known by his stage name Arata, is a Japanese actor, model and fashion designer.

Biography

Iura co-starred in Yukio Ninagawa's Snakes and Earrings with Yuriko Yoshitaka and Kengo Kora.[1] He appeared in Junji Sakamoto's Strangers in the City.[2]

He portrayed Yukio Mishima in Koji Wakamatsu's 11:25 The Day He Chose His Own Fate.[3]

He also appeared in some of Hirokazu Koreeda's films such as After Life, Distance and Air Doll.[4][5][6]
