The Arakan Rohingya Islamic Front (abbreviated ARIF) was an Islamist Rohingya insurgent group active in Rakhine State, Myanmar (Burma). The group was made up of Rohingya fighters led by Nurul Islam, a Yangon-educated lawyer, and the former Vice Chairman of the Rohingya Patriotic Front (RPF). The group was created after uniting the remnants of the RPF and a handful of defectors from the RSO.^[1]

In 1998 the ARIF was integrated into the Rohingya National Army (RNA), then informally into the Arakan Rohingya National Organization (ARNO) in 2001.
