The song has been performed on many variety shows like The Ed Sullivan Show, Shindig!, etc. Since the song used so many production techniques like echo, reverb, and compression, the song had to be lip-synched on television performances. In the United Kingdom, the b-side to "Any Way You Want It" was "Because".
