Anumol is a south Indian film actress, predominantly acting in Malayalam and Tamil movies.[1] She appeared in Malayalam movies such as Chayilyam, Ivan Megharoopan, Akam , Vedivazhipadu and "Jamnapyari".[2][3][4][5]

Personal life

Anumol was born in Naduvattam on 24 December 1987 at Pattambi, Palakkad district, Kerala. She completed her schooling from Presentation Convent, Perinthalmanna, Higher Secondary education in St.Mary's Higher Secondary School Pariyapuram and graduation in Engineering (Information Technology) from the Hindusthan College, Coimbatore.

Film career

Starting her film career with the Tamil movies Kannukkulle, Ramar and Sooran, Anumol forayed into Malayalam cinema with P. Balachandran’s Ivan Megharoopan, a biopic based on the poet P. Kunhiraman Nair. She portrayed Thankamony . The next film was Akam, adaptation of Malayattoor Ramakrishnan’s novel Yakshi. She played Theyyam artiste Gauri in Manoj Kana’s Chayilyam. Anumol has filmed Njan, a film by Ranjith.[6]
