Anthony Davie

Anthony Davie (Born: London 1960) is a writer. He wrote the book Vision of a Homeland The History of Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros.

The book is based on his personal experiences travelling around the world with Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros. He also ran the band's official website.

Anthony Davie appeared in the film Viva Joe Strummer: The Clash and Beyond (also known as Joe Strummer Story).

He was merchandise manager for Los Mondo Bongo (celebrating the music of Joe Strummer) set up with James Newall tour manager and his mate Nyle the chef.The band includes Joe Strummer's post-Clash bandmates Pablo Cook (percussion) and Smiley Culture/Steve Barnard (drums) from The Mescaleros, as well as bassist Derek Forbes (Simple Minds), guitarist Steve Harris (Gary Numan) and vocalist Mike Peters (The Alarm), plus Ray Gange of Rude Boy film fame DJing. Who have toured the UK and Canada.
