Andressa de Faveri Urach (born December 11, 1987) is a Brazilian model, businesswoman and reality television personality, best known for being a contestant on the sixth season of the Brazilian version of The Farm.[2] Her mother is Italian and her father Brazilian.

Career

Born in Ijuí inside the Rio Grande do Sul state, she graduated in Business administration, but chose a career as a model and dancer. She represented the International club in the contest "Musa do Brasileirão" in 2011, organized by the sports show Globo Esporte.[3] She had a notorious fame as a dancer of singer Latino, but decided to stop being a "Latinete" (as the dancers are called) to dedicate herself in others professional projects.

In 2012, the model made a sensual essay for the Paparazzo website. She made her first naked essay for Sexy Magazine in April. In the same year, she participated in the Miss Butt and finished as vice champion, losing to Carine Felizardo.[4][5] Also, she was considered one of the muses of 2012 Summer Olympics.

In 2013, she made the second cover for Sexy Magazine in September 2013 and was involved in a controversy with the Portuguese player from Real Madrid Cristiano Ronaldo. Soon after, she was one of the participants of sixth edition "The Farm", reality show aired by Rede Record, finishing in 7th place in the competition.[6][7][8] In 2014, the Spanish newspaper "El Diario" did a story about the model and emphasized her title of Miss Butt and considered her the muse of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Currently, Andressa presents "Muito Show", a Rede TV TV show, with ex-panicat Babi Rossi, Ze Luis and Thiago Rocha.[9]

On November 29, 2014 Andressa was hospitalized in critical condition in the ICU of a Porto Alegre hospital due to a generalized infection that resulted from large quantities of silicone gel she had implanted in her thighs to make them thicker, for show business appearances.[10] On January 1, 2015 the Brazilian news site UOL reported she had been released from the hospital after a 25 days stay, and that she declared, on an interview given to the British tabloid Daily Mail that she believed she had been punished for her "stupid vanity."[11]

In January 2016 Andressa stated in an interview that she is now evangelical. She has published a book titled "Morri para Viver - Meu submundo de fama, drogas e prostituição" (I died so I could live - My underworld of fame, drugs, and prostitution), and she says she is now dedicated to only regain the love and respect of her 11 old son, Arthur.

A Fazenda

On June 23, 2013, Urach was officially announced by host Britto Junior as one of the sixteen celebrity contestants on the sixth season of A Fazenda, the Brazilian version of reality series The Farm, which aired on Rede Record.

During the performance on the show Andressa equaled the record for most times being the Farmer of the Week, which is three times in a single season. This record is also held by the runner-up of the third season Sérgio Abreu and the winner of the fourth season Joana Machado.[12] Andressa is also tied with the fifth season competitor Robertha Portella for the longest period without going to a hot seat in the show, 12 weeks; both were also eliminated from the show the first time they were put in the hot seat.[13]

On September 15, 2013, after 85 days, Andressa was finally evicted from the show in a contest with the eventual winner Bárbara Evans and runner-up Denise Rocha, finishing in seventh place overall in the competition.[14]

Andressa is considered one of the most controversial contestants in the show's history, along with first season contestant Théo Becker and fifth season contestant Nicole Bahls, and along with her fellow competitors from same season Denise Rocha and Lu Schievano.
