Anchorage is an upcoming residential project in Chennai by House of Hiranandani. The project will be constructed on the company's 120-acre Egattur Township on Chennai's IT expressway.[1] Expected to be 160 meters high, Anchorage will be the tallest tower in Chennai.[2]

Location

Strategically located at Egattur OMR, this project overlooks the Chennai backwaters and the Bay of Bengal. Each apartment in the tower will have a panoramic view of the sea.[3] This Egattur, OMR project merges with East Cost Road to provide easy access to areas like Palavakkam, Neelankarai and Thiruvanmiyur. Anchorage is in proximity to many multinational companies, education institutes, and hotels.

Design

Anchorage will feature an exquisite architecture. The building will be about 160 meters tall and have 45 stories. It will offer about 245 apartments along with myriad amenities including swimming pools, heated Jacuzzi spa, jogging tracks, banquet halls, outdoor basketball court, cafes/restaurant, cricket pitch, tennis court, and snooker and pool room[4] For safety, the tower will include fully automated fire detection and sprinkling systems.

The layout is designed keeping in mind the privacy of the residents. The project has 2 to 5 BHK apartments.[5]

House of Hiranandani has made an investment of 375 Crore to execute this project.[6]
