Alwyn Hamilton is the author of the young adult book Rebel of the Sands. Hamilton was born in Toronto and had lived in Europe and Canada before her parents decided to settle in France.[1] She grew up in a small town in France before moving to England to study History of Art at King's College in Cambridge University.[2] She later moved back to France for work after graduation. She currently lives in London.
Rebel of the Sand is Hamilton's debut novel and she is planning to write two more books for the trilogy.[3]
