The Spanish algyroides (Algyroides marchi ),[2] also commonly known as the Spanish keeled lizard or Valverde's lizard,[3] is a species of lizard in the family Lacertidae.[2]
Etymology
The specific name, marchi, is in honor of Spanish businessman Juan March Ordinas.[3]
Geographic range
A. marchi is endemic to S.E. Spain.[2]
Habitat
The natural habitats of the Spanish algyroides are temperate forests, rivers, and rocky areas.[2]
Conservation status
A. marchi is threatened by habitat loss.[2]
