Alessandro is an unincorporated community in Riverside County, California.^[1] Alessandro is located on the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad, 9 miles (14.5 km) east of Riverside.^[2] It lies at an elevation of 1535 feet (468 m).^[1]

The town was laid out in 1887 and named for the hero in the novel Ramona.^[2] The Alessandro post office operated from 1888 to 1902.^[2]
