Alderton is a village in Wiltshire, England, 6 miles (9.7 km) southwest of Malmesbury. It is within the civil parish of Luckington.

The Anglican Church of St Giles is Grade II* listed.[1][2] It has a monument to Thomas Gore (1632–1684), a High Sheriff of Wiltshire and writer on heraldry.

The South Wales Main Line, the main railway from Swindon to Bristol and South Wales, runs close to the south of the village where it passes through the Alderton Tunnel.
