The Ajumako/Enyan/Essiam District is one of the twenty (20) districts in the Central Region of Ghana. Its capital is Ajumako. The university of education, Winneba has a campus at Ajumako. The natives are fantis and their main occupation is farming. Another town in the district is Eyan Denkyira.
