Agrostis perennans (Upland bentgrass, Upland bent, Autumn bent, Agrostide perennant[3]) is species of grass in the Poaceae family.

Description

This perennial bunchgrass grows in clumps without rhizomes or stolons, with erect stems growing to about 8-31 inches (20–80 cm).[4] The species name perennans means "perennial".[5]

Distribution

Agrostis perennans, Upland bentgrass, is native to North and South America;[3] it grows in fields, fens, open woods, thickets, and along roadsides.[4][6]
