Aglossa pinguinalis, also known as the large tabby and grease moth, is a moth in the Pyralinae subfamily.[1][2][3]

The forewings are grayish brown clouded with a darker hue. They are covered by two indented lines.[3] The dark-hued larvae feed on greasy clothing,[3] animal droppings,[1] dead vegetation,[1] fruit and grasses.
