Adusumalli is a small village and a panchyath located in the Parchur mandal of the Prakasam district, in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India.

Agriculture

The main occupation in the village is agriculture with the main crops being tobacco, rice, cotton, chili pepper and maize.

Political View

The village comes under the Assembly Constituency of Parchur and the Parliament(Loksabha) segment of Bapatla

Geography

The village situated in the coastal plain. Saki kaluva flows close to the south of the village. Occasional floods occur due to the over flowing of Nallamada vagu and Saki kaluva. The fertile dry lands (black soil) are good for cultivating cotton, horsegram, tobacco, chillies crops.

Temples

Dassara - Navarathrulu celebrations were famous for Ammavaru Avatharalu and Harikathalu. Vinayaka Chavithi celebrations were also famous for nimarjanam.

Transportation

The nearest railway station is in Chirala and the nearest airport is in Vijayawada.

There is regular bus service, run by the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC), with buses running every 15 to 30 minutes from 5 a.m. until 11 p.m in between Guntur and Parchur.
