Acacia microcalyx is a shrub belonging to the genus Acacia and the subgenus Phyllodineae. It is native to an area in the Mid West and Goldfields-Esperance regions of Western Australia.[1]

The dense pungent shrub typically grows to a height of 1.5 to 3 metres (5 to 10 ft). It blooms from February to June and produces cream flowers.
