Abul Hassan Al-Sindi (Arabic: أبو الحسن بن محمد صادق السندي، المدني) (d.1176 AH/1724 AD) was a Muslim scholar who is known as the founder of the modern Sindhi writing system.

Life and work

He becoming a prominent scholar in his native land, and nearing old age, he set off with a caravan to perform the Hajj, and later settled in Medina.
