Aame Evaru? is 1966 black-and-white Psychological mystery film and Thriller Telugu film produced and directed by B. S. Narayana. Starring Kongara Jaggaiah and J. Jayalalitha with Vanisri , Prabhakar Reddy , Rajababu , Nagabhushanam , Radha and K. Malathi as part of the supporting cast. Music is by Vedha. Lyrics written by Dasaradhi. The film is a remake of 1964 Hindi hit film Woh Kaun Thi?.[1] The Tamil version of the film as Yaar Nee? released earlier, on 10 April 1966 which starred Jayalalithaa opposite Jaishankar.

Hindi (original version)

Woh Kaun Thi? was released on 1964 black-and-white Psychological mystery film and was directed by Raj Khosla. It starred Sadhana , Manoj Kumar and Prem Chopra and the screenplay was written by Dhruva Chatterjee. The music Madan Mohan was asset to the movie. The film became a hit at the Box Office. Raj Khosla directed Sadhana in two more suspense thriller movies namely: Mera Saaya (1966) and Anita (1967 film). The ghost singing song Naina Barse Rimjnim Rimjhim was sung by Lata Mangeshkar and lyrics were written by Raja Mehdi Ali Khan.[2]

Tamil (remake)

Yaar Nee? (film) was released on 10 April 1966 black-and-white Psychological mystery film on Tamil. The movie directed by Sathyam and produced by P. S. Veerappa and production company is P. S. V. Pictures.Starring Jaishankar, J. Jayalalitha , C. Lakshmi Rajyam , Manorama and S. V. Ramadoss. Though the Screenplay and Dialog written by M. K. Muthu. The Music Vedha assets to the movie. The film became a hit at the Box Office. Later, the same year another thriller movie comes partnership with starring Jaishankar and J. Jayalalitha followed by Nee (film). Yaar Nee? (film) ghost was singing song Naane Varuven Ingum Angum singer by P. Suseela and Music by Vedha and lyrics written by Kannadasan.[3] The Telugu remake was made after the success of Tamil version.
