A French Gigolo or Cliente is a 2008 French drama film directed by Josiane Balasko and starring Nathalie Baye. It is based on "Cliente", the first novel written by Josiane Balasko, who was a big success.

Judith is a male prostitute who meets Patrick, who hides his double life from his wife. When she finds out about his extramarital activities by answering his phone, she decides she will catch him in a hotel room with a client. At first offended by the behavior of her husband, she soon asks him to continue to be "a boy escort" to help pay the bills for her hairdresser. Judith and Patrick then live out a love story, but then Patrick decides to leave his wife, forcing Judith to choose between his wife and and Patrick.

The movie was first introduced during the Rome Film Festival, in October 2008. The film was also screen at the 2009 Seattle International Film Festival.
