'ATO Records' (or 'According to Our Records') is an American independent record label based in New York City. The label was founded in 2000 by Dave Matthews and manager Coran Capshaw, and is run by Jon Salter. The label roster boasts an extraordinary artist community including Alabama Shakes, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Brandi Carlile, Joseph, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Hurray For The Riff Raff, Benjamin Booker, Okkervil River, Blind Pilot, Drive-By Truckers, Primus, Margaret Glaspy, My Morning Jacket among others. ATO is currently distributed in the USA by Caroline Distribution and by PIAS Group in Europe. As a truly independent label, ATO is steadfast in its commitment to building career artists.

The first of its successes was David Gray, whose album White Ladder (and resulting single "Babylon") gained critical acclaim and popularity in the United States as well as abroad. The single "Babylon" climbed the charts in the United States and provided a good introduction for the record label into the music business.
