ARC21

ARC21 is a local government body in Northern Ireland that is tasked with coordination of the waste management and recycling services in the North East of Northern Ireland.[1] The ARC21 waste management region includes the city, borough and district councils of:

  1. Antrim
  2. Ards
  3. Ballymena
  4. Belfast
  5. Carrickfergus
  6. Castlereagh
  7. Down
  8. Larne
  9. Lisburn
  10. Newtownabbey
  11. North Down

ARC21 is accountable to the Northern Ireland Department for the Environment.[2]
