A. Frederick Oberlin

Adam Frederick Oberlin (June 25, 1891 - July 10, 1938) was a prominent citizen of Hamden, Connecticut who served with distinction in the United States Military during the First World War. The covered bridge in East Rock Park is named after A. Frederick Oberlin.

He received the Croix de Guerre on April 20, 1918 and a Silver Citation Star.
