Rivalries

A&M Consolidated currently employs two main rivals: College Station High School and Bryan High School. College Station's rivalry is in effect due to the two schools being the only two high schools in the city of College Station, since CSHS's inaugural year in 2012-2013. In the first year of their rivalry, the 2014-15 season, Consol leads CSHS with a 7-5-3 record in the eight major sports: football, volleyball, girls' and boys' basketball, girls' and boys' soccer, softball, and baseball. The last game of the rivalry that season was a 2-1 victory for Consol baseball against the then No. 2 ranked CSHS team. Bryan High has long been a rival of A&M Consolidated, as the two were, for many years, the only two high schools in the Twin Cities: Bryan and College Station. The rivalry is called the "Crosstown Showdown".
