3D Rollercoaster Rush is a video game by Digital Chocolate that is available for cellular phones. 3D Rollercoaster Rush is the successor to Rollercoaster Rush.[2]

Description

3D Rollercoaster Rush is a strategy game in which players have to navigate a rollercoaster train on various rollercoaster tracks. Players must try to get to the end of the track without crashing the entire train.

With each completed track, players earn a certain amount of points. The amount of points received depends on how well the track was completed, such as how fast the track was completed and how many and how high jumps were. Players can also earn points by getting special rewards that can be earned by doing things such as speeding up the train and not braking when they finish the track.

To advance to the next track, a player must earn a certain amount of stars. Players can earn stars by getting a certain amount of points on a track. Most tracks require at least three stars to unlock, but some tracks require a larger amount.

When unlocking some tracks, players may receive another cart added to the train or a larger amount of passengers. The larger amount of passengers, the more points a player can earn. Earning more passengers also makes the game more difficult since it makes the train longer and harder to maneuver.

There are three different locations in the game (Australia, France, and The United States), and each location has its own set or tracks. With each location unlocked, the tracks start to get more difficult and feature new obstacles (such as loops and jumps).

After a player finished all the tracks, they must go back and try to get at least three stars per track. After that is completed, players must get 5 stars per track. Once five stars are earned in each track, the game is completed.

Sequels

Digital Chocolate released many sequels to this game. These include Haunted 3D Rollercoaster Rush and Jurassic 3D Rollercoaster Rush[3] as well as New York 3D Rollercoaster Rush, Lunar 3D Rollercoaster Rush, Wild West 3D Rollercoaster Rush, Jurassic 3D Rollercoaster Rush 2,[4] and Underground 3D Rollercoaster Rush.[5]
