    3544 Borodino (1977 RD4) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on September 7, 1977 by Chernykh, N. at Nauchnyj. It is named after the village of Borodino, commemorating the battle that took place there in 1812.

    Photometric observations of this asteroid collected during 2007 show a rotation period of 5.44 ± 0.01 hours with a brightness variation of 0.65 ± 0.04 magnitude.[2]
