The 2016–17 Memphis Grizzlies season is the 22nd season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). On May 7, 2016, the Memphis Grizzlies fired Dave Joerger after the team was swept in the first round of the playoffs.[1] On May 29, 2016, David Fizdale was hired as the head coach.[2]
