The 2016–17 Central Connecticut Blue Devils men's basketball team represent Central Connecticut State University during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Blue Devils, led by first year head coach Donyell Marshall, play their home games at the William H. Detrick Gymnasium and are members of the Northeast Conference.

On April 6, 2016 it was announced that Donyell Marshall was named the 10th head coach in program history.[2] Marshall replaces Howie Dickenman, who was head coach for 20 years.
