The 2012 BNP Paribas Masters – Singles was the main event of the 2012 BNP Paribas Masters men's tennis tournament played in Paris, France from 29 October through 4 November 2012. Roger Federer was the defending champion, but withdrew from the tournament.[1] David Ferrer won his first Masters 1000 title by defeating qualifier Jerzy Janowicz in the final 6–4, 6–3, becoming the first Spaniard ever to win the title in Bercy.
