2008–09 College Hockey America women's ice hockey season

In the 2008-09 season, Syracuse University joined the conference. The Mercyhurst Lakers were both the CHA regular-season and tournament champions. The Lakers were 16-0-0 in conference play.[1]

CHA Tournament

The Mercyhurst Lakers were the CHA tournament champions. In the semifinals, the Lakers disposed of Niagara by an 8-2 mark. In the final, the Lakers defeated Wayne State by a 6-1 score. The tournament was played in Erie, Pennsylvania.
