1996 Ujjain and Haridwar stampedes

1996 Ujjain and Haridwar stampedes refer to two human stampedes which occurred on 15 July 1996 in holy Indian towms of Ujjain and Haridwar killing 39 and 21, and injuring 35 and 40 hindu worshippers at respective places.[1]
