These are the daytime Monday–Friday schedules on all three networks for each calendar season beginning in September 1984. All times are Eastern; affiliate schedules may differ.

NOTE: On ABC, The Edge of Night aired its final episode on December 28, 1984. After the final episode of The Edge of Night, ABC rescinded the 4:00 pm time slot to its local stations. Many affiliates had already dropped the show by the time it was canceled.
