The 1974 Colorado Buffaloes football team was an American football team that represented the University of Colorado at Boulder in the Big Eight Conference (Big 8) during the 1974 NCAA Division I football season. In their first season under head coach Bill Mallory, the Buffaloes compiled a 5–6 record (3–4 against Big 8 opponents), finished in fifth place in the Big 8, and were outscored by their opponents, 307 to 226.[1][2] The team played its home games at Folsom Field in Boulder, Colorado.
