The 1962 Northern Illinois Huskies football team represented Northern Illinois University during the 1962 college football season. The Huskies would finish the regular season 8–1 and played in the Mineral Water Bowl losing to Adams State. They were coached by head coach Howard Fletcher, his 7th season with the team.
