@Xi Computer is a privately held computer manufacturer of custom CAD Workstations, CAD Laptops and Tesla based HPC Servers, Since 1987 has customized, built computer systems solutions for the global computer market, providing the highest quality and superior level. It is headquartered in the building at 980 Calle Negocio in the city of San Clemente, California, United States.[1]

History

@Xi Computer was founded in 1987 by John Alcorn, Denis Baggi & Robert Bragaglia, as Xi Computer. The business was named to reflect the company goal of delivering performance “X”cellence based on “i”ntel microprocessors. Capitalizing on a previous successful design of a Digital Research MP/M Z80 based computer, Robert designed two motherboards, with PAL discrete chipset, based on the Intel i386 & i486 CPU, entirely locally manufactured. The company started to sell its line of tower & desktops computers in 1988. Success and brand recognition in the CAD world came with a CADalyst Highly Recommended Award in 1992,[2] for an Intel 486 based desktop with fastest AutoCAD benchmark score.[3] Subsequent awards on December of 1993 a “Byte Best”[4] and on December 1994 a “Most Expandable”[5] using a dual CPU (Pentium Pro) from BYTE/NSTL Lab Report, affirmed the company reputation for delivering performance oriented computing solutions. Cadence, C-Net, PC-World, Desktop Engineering and CADalyst have all recognized, during the years, @Xi products for their performance and value. In 2001 the company re-incorporated in Delaware appending the “@” in front of their name, in tribute to the majority of the business being entertained on the internet.
